Amy Hanna
Speech Pathologist (BSpHSc, MSpLaPath)
Amy is an English-speaking speech pathologist who moved from Sydney, Australia to Amsterdam in 2023. She graduated from Macquarie University in 2018 with a Master of Speech and Language Pathology. She has since worked with both children and young adults in private clinics, homes, childcare centres and schools. She is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist and a member of Speech Pathology Australia.
She is experienced at providing assessment and therapy in areas including speech sounds, language skills, literacy, fluency (stuttering) and social communication. Her approach is deeply rooted in client-centred care, as she works hard to select goals that are relevant and feasible for each client while keeping therapy fun and motivating. She takes pride in creating the trusting, nurturing environment necessary to help her clients bloom and reach their full potential.
Amy has worked with many neurodivergent clients, primarily those who are autistic or are ADHDers. She embraces a neurodivergent-affirming approach, ensuring that therapy goals and activities help her clients feel supported, valued and empowered. Amy is passionate about this area and is dedicated to listening and learning from the neurodivergent community.
Amy abides by Speech Pathology Australia's Code of Ethics and complies with the standards required for clinical/professional practice. Membership number: 23346.
